Wesley: We're going to bring Angelus in alive. Connor: No we're not. Gunn: I thought you said capturing him wasn't an option. Wesley: Changed my mind. Connor: Change it back.

I'm not sure if the votes count for the grand prize, and I don't know if anyone outside Canada can vote, but...I entered this contest at IKEA for a room makeover. If you can, vote for my pink kitchen. I need counter space! I need storage! I need a stove that's on at the opposite end of the room from the sink.

Richard Castle is on Twitter with a nice hiatus mystery. (That looks to be ripped from the headlines.)

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

If anyone knows of Boston-area peeps looking for a car, send 'em my way! I'm selling my 2003 Mazda Protege5 wagon, with only 18k miles on it, for $8,500 or B.O.

More deets in the Craigslist ad which is here. My profile address is good, or just answer the ad!

My latest on Grist is up. I'm definitely breaking a story here, though not a major one. Attack on industrial wind puffed with false peer review claims Basically the author created her own imprint to self-publish a book, sought out peer reviewers via the imprint she controlled, and then got media attention she would otherwise have been unable to obtain by claiming her work had been reviewed by a valid peer review process.

FYI: If anyone out there is a long-time customer of Comcast cable tv, and there is a competing cable/dish/AT&T company in your market, you might want to contact Comcast to see if they'll offer you a discount. I just got $30 knocked off my cable tv bill for the next six months--it would have been twelve, but I would have had to lock myself in for that year.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The Lucha Libre Hero sourcebook by Hero Games, with some wrestling hold illustrations by yours truly, is now available for purchase. If you love cheesy Mexican wrestler/superhero movies or thrill to the menace of Blonde Martians in gold lamé gladiator armor, it might be worth a look-see.
