Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, a note--all duplicate posts numbers are gone now, and should stay gone. Please check your bookmarks in case they've shifted by a post or two.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

After an absurdly long time being locked out of my own site because I was too stupid to realize I was trying to log in with the wrong username, my teaching blog is back up and running. Just a quick (but funny!) post for now, but I'll be posting regularly from now on.

Here's the link: Long Absence...But Pictures!

Please feel free to pass the site along to any teacher types in your life.

What is even happening?

The recap for last week's Lost has been published at TWoP, which I mention here, because it contains a few BtVS shout-outs, in honor of our girl's 12th anniversary (today).

If you read it, you might want to click on the "Theme Song" link, when you come across it. Cheers.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

This seems like the sort of thing NYistas, or others visiting NYC might want to know about:

Tickets for the stage adaption of Neil Gaiman's "Coraline," with music and lyrics by Stephin Merritt, will go on sale Monday, March 23 via the MCC Theater website. The production -- a collaboration between Merritt, director Leigh Silverman, and writer/actor David Greenspan -- begins a special limited engagement run on May 7 at New York City's Lucille Lortel Theatre.

From March 23 to April 12 single price tickets to any performance will be available at the special price of $39. (Regular ticket prices start at $65.) To purchase tickets at the discounted price, apply the promotional code CLHT upon checkout at the MCC Theater website. There is a limit of eight tickets per order. Availability is subject to change.

Be wise. Be brave. Be tricky. See "Coraline" this spring!

Visit the MCC Theater website and purchase tickets starting March 23: http://www.mcctheater.org/

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OK, as an experiment I created a poll to see what Buffistas think/feel about the economy: [link]

There are only three multiple-choice questions.

Discussion (if any) in Natter....

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

We seem to have another large pet food recall going on. I found it here: [link] which is a huge page, and you have to scroll down to the end. I CC&Ped the pet food list to my lj here: [link] for easier reading.
