RE posts 273 & 274:
(January 18 is a Saturday)
Just to confirm (based on many many emails, flyers, posters and other such recruitments received over the last couple weeks), the march is indeed, definitely and absolutely on Saturday the 18th, not Sunday.
A reminder that CBC's Ideas program is playing a radio documentary on Buffy tonight at 9. (It's at nine on all time zones.) There are some excerpts from their interview with Marti Noxon on that link.
CBC broadcasts in RealAudio, from all the Canadian Time Zones, can be found here.
Info for those who are interested in pre-ordering Harry Potter 5:
I am not advocating that you support them (because they are the Evil of the Bookseller's world), but you can reserve a copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix from Borders and you will receive 40% off. It will be available for pick up at midnight+1 on 6/20 from whichever Borders you reserve it at. Just reserve at their information desk.
Kat: Buy.com has it for $16.17 no tax/free shipping. Is it cheaper than that, or you just get it faster?
The infamous Firefly article is up.
They're still shaking bugs out of the new "issue," so their may be browser problems for a bit.
OK. Back to work, Victor...
Browncoats all over the U.S. (and a few in Canada) are mobilizing to donate coats or other necessities to charities in their hometowns. Won’t you join us?
The Brown Coat Drive will take place Saturday, 25 January 2003, all over North America.

Thanks!

Requests For Assistance: Project Gutenberg--Canada will be starting up soon, please let us know if you would like to volunteer! Copyright in Canada is "Life +50" as in Australia, and we have volunteers working on both of these. We will also be seeking volunteers from others of the "life +50" countries.

LAistas: Plans for a possible watching of Rabbit-Proof Fence are being tenatively made for Saturday at a place to be disclosed later. Also, 8 Mile might be on hand as well. I love the Academy. Let me know if any interest.
