Zoe: Captain will come up with a plan. Kaylee: That's good. Right? Zoe: Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Lightbulbs is now open for discussion of the following proposal:

I propose that we close the dedicated Firefly thread and continue our discussions in the Minearverse thread.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

LAistas--We are having a yard sale at our old place tomorrow from 8am-2pm. It's 239 N, Keystone St in Burbank and there is lots of cool stuff. Feel free to drop by to buy or just to say hello.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

If you are anywhere within a reasonable drive of New York City next weekend, here's where you need to be:

Victor D. Infante hosts a night of readers from the The November 3rd Club, including Tony Brown, Jane Cassady, Brian Dauth, Lea Deschenes, Guy LeCharles Gonzalez, Gary Hoare, Lynne Procope, Skip Shea, Jackie Sheeler, Rachel McKibbens, Michael Cirelli and Patricia Smith.

The Bowery Poetry Club 308 Bowery, New York, NY 10012 212.614.0505

Saturday, November 3rd 6 to 8 p.m. Admission: $7

It's not just going to be a hell of a reading, it's going to be a hell of a party. Seriously. Just be there.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I've been reminded that it's that time of year again.

I haven't been posting much, but this board is still home and I still keep the infamous lists.

If you'd like me to know things about you I can share with someone who decides they want to send you something special, please fill out the form below (skip any you don't want to answer, answer more if you think of something cool to say, consider these guidelines rather than rules, etcetera, etc.), and send it to me at my profile address. Then, when your Santa gets your name, or someone just decides they want to send you something, they won't be sending you, for example, white chocolate (an abomination!) or candied ginger (I'm allergic) if you don't like it/can't eat it/wouldn't wear it/don't know what it's for.

If you've already sent me info but things have changed, send me an update and I'll put it in the file. The questions are:

Our wings are not tired

For those that are interested the latest episode of B-Movie Bastards is up. If you like B-Movies please give it a listen. This episode is a short one that we recorded behind the scenes at Halloween Horror Nights.

Urgent for Halloween Fang-Wearing Types:

I've heard this news a number of places now, but here's an article about it.

Seems that some (most?) fake fangs have 100 times the allowed amount of lead in them. You may want to ditch the fangs tomorrow.
