LAistas: Insent with details on Scolapalooza brunch this Sunday. If you didn't get an email, I don't have your email address. Just ping me at my profile addy and I'll forward you the details posthaste. All localistas are welcome.
Since I upgraded my Sims to Sims2, I have an entire set of
The Sims for Mac
-- all of the supplements, too -- just looking for a new home. First taker gets them for the price of mailing them out -- let me know via fauxpaws AT comcast DOT net. -- Taken!
Would anyone like a screener DVD of Peacekeeper Wars? IIRC, it's very close to the broadcast version (including near-final vfx/sound), plus you get the nifty little booklet of press notes that came with it (synopsis, bios, etc).
[edit: taken!]
I made Publisher's Weekly Hot Books for Summer list. I think the title is going to be on the cover.
It's F2F polling time again. It's time to make our final prom plans. If you're coming or think you'll probably get to Atlanta, please tell the nice poll noon board time Thursday: [link]
It's also time to make those hotel reservations: 404.874.5756 or online [link] Remember to note that you're with the Buffistas.
Hear ye! Hear ye! The Lightbulbs thread is open to discuss the following proposal by Cindy:
I propose we study our TV habits to see what else we like to post about, besides the stuff we already post about. To that end, I propose we open one or more temporary threads for discovery. White font policy and number/category of temporary threads will be determined after discussion in Lightbulbs. These temporary threads would shut down on June 1, 2007, and we'll come back to Bureacracy at that time, to suss out what works and what doesn't.
Some of you may remember me telling you about Quilt Pink! last Fall. Well, over 4,000 quilts were collected to auction off to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The actions started last week. 150 quilts will be auctioned each week for the next six months. Here is the link to the Quilt Pink store: [link] There's a lot of amazing stuff there. Check back each week (auctions start on Thursdays).
Oh, and I'll let you know when my quilt is up for action with another post.
