Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Any Kansas City peeps, I have one free ticket to the Folly Theatre performance of NPR's Wait, wait, don't tell me! On Thursday, June 12. Profile address is good.

Also, the Serenity day festivities are being celebrated at the Screenland theatre on June 23 and 24th if anyone would like to go!

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Anyone out there like working with beads?

I have an amazing collection of beads (four compartmented plastic cases full of them), ranging from tiny standard to one-of-a-kind larger pieces. I used to make jewelry, but I can't anymore; the multiple sclerosis and the hands don't like each other much.

Free to first person to e me at profile addy; recipient covers the shipping.

eta: and claimed, splitting between two people.

About a month ago, I shipped out the last of the cookbooks. It looks like at least two people have not received them. If you ordered a cookbook, at any time, and did not receive it, could you please e-mail me at thevwbug at gmail dot com?

Thanks!

Are there any lawyers on the board who would be willing to talk with a friend of mine who is being fucked over by a moving company? (She was given an estimate of 2-4 days for delivery of her furniture in the contract she signed. It was picked up on May 25th, and her stuff still hasn't been delivered.) She's already contacted the Better Business Bureau.

Profile address is good.

The Great Emily and vw Get Rid of Stuff (TM) has begun. Up for grabs today is about $50 worth of silk fabric. It is natural in color and can be dyed. It is from Dharma Trading Company, which is a leader in fabric arts: [link] There is in the batch:

  • a 6-8 yard piece of 8mm (I think) Silk Habotai (It was taken out of the bag and stuffed back in, so it's a bit wrinkled, but really lovely fabric)

  • a 1 yard piece of 8 mm (I think) Silk Habotai

  • a 4-yard piece of Raw Silk

Make me an offer I can't refuse to my profile addy, and it's yours.

edit: And it's gone.

Always Anti-fascist!

Victor may well be banking on my being a tremendous attention whore, in which case, go buy those lotto tickets, babe, but I finally made into November3rd. Here: [link] The credit for everything else goes to the brilliant Victor and his far-flung crew, though. My first fiction publication. I'm very proud.
