Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Our wings are not tired.

Stolen from email from my sister. I am thankful for Word's change text option because it arrived in shouting mode.

May I express my gratitude for each and every Buffista by sending this along.

Ode to Thanksgiving

Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't sleep
I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep.
The leftovers beckoned - the dark meat and white
But I fought the temptation with all of my might

Tossing and turning with anticipation
The thought of a snack became infatuation.
So, I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door
And gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore.
I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,
Pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.
I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,
'Til all of a sudden, I rose off the ground.

I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky
With a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie.
But, I managed to yell as I soared past the trees....
Happy eating to all; pass the cranberries, please.

May your stuffing be tasty, may your turkey be plump.
May your potatoes 'n gravy have nary a lump,
May your yams be delicious, may your pies take the prize,
May your thanksgiving dinner stay off of your thighs.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Always Anti-fascist!

Hey all, Another one of my articles is up at [link] My interview with Paula is the Staff Shot. And since I am now staff, I thought I'd give a little fundraising PSA...it's the only cross-disability lit journal on the Net and it keeps me off the streets. What worthier purpose could an online 'zine serve? Thanks so much. Read. Tell your(rich) friends!

If I only had a brain...

The costume designer for Firefly is auctioning off many of her costumes.

I would kill for Inara's costumes, but unfortunately the actress is a tiny wee thing and I am not.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can everyone who wants to be on the Eyes tree post so in When Come Back Bring Tape? There are three sets of unaired eps in the wild.

msbelle, JZ, libkitty -- let's do it this way.

msbelle takes the first person on the list, JZ the second, and libkitty the third.

Then msbelle's person takes the fourth, JZ's the fifth, and libkitty's the sixth, ad infinitum, or the end, whichever comes first.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Our Kristen is now a Disney Fellowship finalist. This means out of about 4000 entries, our girl is in the top twenty of the most prestigious of television writing contests.
