Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

Who? moi??

For those of you who live in the Bay Area, the Great Highway will be closed for sand sweeping from Monday, the 6th to Friday the 17th from 9am to 3pm Monday thru Fridays. I assume it will be open on weekends. Closed from Sloat to Lincoln, but I wouldn't put it past them to close the entire sea front from time to time.

Our wings are not tired.

My company needs to contract out some projects that may well be ideal for a Buffista. These fall into 2 general areas. Graphic design: Advertising pieces and packaging. Web development: Interactive demo section, and possibly a support knowledge base for customer access.

Please contact me at my profile address and I will happily send more details.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I have an extra copy of the region 1 DVD set for Buffy S1, which I cannot return and would like to see in a good home. Drop me an e-mail, and it's yours. Profile address is good.

Mostly lurking...

I am collecting money for flowers to send Stephanie to welcome Ellie to the world. My profile addy should work in paypal (thevwbug at gmail dot com).

If we collect more money than we need for flowers, we'll discuss in Bitches buying something off her registry or something else.

The discussion started here: P.M. Marcontell "Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty." Jun 4, 2005 4:57:58 pm PDT

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

Would any Buffista like a quick freelance job OCR-ing about 300 MB of .tif files? Email me at my profile addy. I estimate it's about 6 hours of work.

If this technobabble makes no sense, I'm sorry!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Chicago'istas! Free tickets are available for Uncle Vanya at Apple Tree Theatre [link] for June 15, 16, 17, and 18. Profile addy is good.
