Tracy: Well-- That call -- That call means you just murdered me. Mal: No, son. You murdered yourself. I just carried the bullet a while.

Not javachik

JZ, despite TrioTV's assertion that my cable co. carries it, I couldn't find it. Probably one has to have gold or platinum service instead of expanded basic. Sorry. Maybe someone else can help.

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

NY-istas: I am speaking at the NYPL on Monday, Dec 9, at 6 pm. 455 Fifth Ave at 40th, 6th Floor conference room C. Two other people are speaking before me. I am talking about "Weird and Wonderful Words." I will try to do a shout-out for 'foamy' if at all possible. That is all.

If I only had a brain...

Glenn Quinn, Doyle on "Angel", died December 2nd. Tim Minear showed up and confirmed it here.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Please go here, and sign up. Hell, use all of your email addies. Be a rebel.

No really. Please do me this favor.

Or do it for Unca Tim. Whichever. Just do it.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

Laptop for sale!

It's a Macintosh Powerbook G3 (Lombard), 333 Mhz, 4 gig hard drive, 256 megs of RAM, 24x CD-ROM drive. It's running OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) and will ship with a retail CD of OS X 10.1. It's in great shape because it never (and I mean never quite literally) left the house. The LCD display has no bad pixels. Pictures are available if you want to look before you buy.

There's a review and a full list of specs at http://www.powerbookcentral.com/reviews/lombardreview.shtml. These laptops are currently selling for $500ish on eBay, so I'm asking $500 now, plus shipping. Express mail is $37.50 for overnight delivery, regular ground parcel post is $18.14 for 7 days.

In the interest of full disclosure between friends--you may have to get a new battery for it because the current one runs down more quickly than it should. You can get the battery reconditioned, but I can't promise that will help.

Otherwise, as far as I can tell, everything works fine. That said, this is sold as-is. Computers are finicky, y'know?

Profile email address is good for inquiries.

The date is December 20th, the airing of the two-hour pilot.

Hello all. Below is a list of hosts, locations and their email addies for the Firefly viewing parties. Please contact them if you would like to attend.

Atlanta Menolie@bellsouth.net

Austin, TX Kaltros@hotmail.com

Minneapolis E_juliana@yahoo.com

Portland, OR Tmdvg71@yahoo.com

Provo, UT Jeremy@rivetal.com

Ohio Cashmerepett@hotmail.com

San Diego Scarroll@scarrollphoto.com

Seattle Webmaster@marcontell.org

Since you all don't know each other, I suggest meeting up at a bar or restaurant in your area that will allow you to turn the television to Firefly, and wouldn't mind a news crew hanging around, if your affiliate covers it.

Please email Allyson@davidfury.net if you want to contact your FOX affiliate to ask them to cover your party.

Thos who have EMAILED me that they are looking for a host I'm working on it. If you've posted to me, I probably haven't had time to pick it up off the board.

Nathan Fillion (Mal) has offered an autograph and his recipe for low fat seven layer dip to anyone hosting a party.

Nutty will be hitting DC this Sunday, and we've only just made plans. Yes, we're slackers. But if any DC-area Buffistas would like to join us, we'll be at the Banana Cafe in Eastern Market at around 6:30pm tomorrow. Email me at my profile addy if you want to come, so we have an idea of how many to get a table for.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's last minute, I know, but I'm in L.A. and can host a viewing party for the Serenity show on the 20th. I have room for around 15-20 people but not a lot of furniture, so it would need to be BYOchair. Anyone interested, please contact me at leeneugebauer@attbi.com.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

JZ & Hec in L.A. pictures

Starts at the bottom of page two and goes to page 3. Also a couple of dress-up pics of JZ going to various holiday balls.
