I finally checked email and found that The Nation is looking for a full-time web editor. Sorry if this is a duplication! If anyone would like me to forward the announcement, just email my profile address.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

New Yorkers: for those who didn't see Allyson's post (thanks!) in Minearverse, the Museum of Television and Radio is having a marathon screening of all 13 Wonderfalls episodes at 12:30 on January 29 and 30 (Saturday & Sunday).

NYistas & Minneapolistas (or whatever the proper term is): theater lovers should check out Artspot Productions' Obie Award-winning Nita and Zita, playing this coming weekend in Minneapolis & the following two weeks in New York. They'll be a long way from their home in New Orleans & would appreciate the support.

Alrighty then.

Buffistas.org is now in possession of a status page: http://www.buffistas.info. Bookmark 'er in case you can't get here, and I will, in as timely a fashion as possible, update it in case of site outage.

Thanks to Kristen of Fangeek for the hosting space.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I'm going to be on the KUCI's "Writer's On Writing" tonight, 5 p.m. PST, 8 p.m. EST, with host Barbara DeMarco-Barrett. Reading poetry, ranting about the man, whatever it is I do. Listen live at: [link]

Hey all, registration will open tomorrow night at 7PM (PST) for Destination: LA, our LOST party.

The block name for the hotel hasn't resolved in the computer yet, we'll post that info as soon as it does.

The rate is for $159 at the Renaissance at Hollywood & Highland.

I'll post the link to the registration form here, and it will be on the homepage as well.
