I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

All MN (and around) Buffistas:

The latest Fifty Foot Penguin Theater show "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" opens this Friday, December 6th, and runs through December 21st. I can offer two-for-one tickets to anyone who would like to attend. It's a wonderful cast and a damn good rendition of the play.

For futher information, go to Fifty Foot Penguin's website, or email me at my profile addy.

Thanks!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Attention Profit fans! TrioTV's programming for December is dedicated to "Brilliant but Cancelled" shows, including all 8 episodes of David Greenwalt's incredible but untimely-demised Profit, which starts tonight at 8 PM EST. (Search for "Profit" here to see the full schedule.)

If someone with this channel would tape it for me, I would be forever in your debt, and I would bake you cookies.

[edit: On 12/7 and 12/23, it looks like all 8 eps will be shown in order in two big happy Profit marathons, from 11 am - 8 pm EST (the entire run is 9 hours because of the 2-hour pilot), so taping will be very easy those two days. Just FYI.]

information libertarian

Attention NC Buffistas!

The lovely and talented Nutty will be visiting our fair state next week. Any and all interested in a get-together Tuesday or Wednesday PM, Dec. 10-11, please contact me at achesope (at) email.uc.edu. Get-together at a location undetermined in the Triangle area; suggestions for suitable Buffista celebration locations welcomed (failing any, at our house in Raleigh). Non-Trianglistas are especially welcomed should they choose to make the journey to, um, the center of it all?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'd like to add to JessPMoon's Profit plea my own Now and Again plea. If anyone has access to TrioTV and can tape N&A for me, I will be large with the debtedness and the sending of special thank-you stuff and everything. And since it doesn't start for a week, if anyone has access and might be able to tape it, if you email me at my profile addy I can send you money for tapes right now.

I don't know if this is the place to post this link, but my husband sent me an interesting LoTR site.
