Dark Garden Unique Corsetry is cleaning out the closet for the first time in years.

We will be donating 1/2 of our proceeds to MoveOn PAC - otherwise known as MoveOn.org. Buy some cool stuff and help defeat George W. !!!!

For sale we'll have fabric and trim yardage and remnants, costume pieces, clothing that staff members and friends have donated, furniture, an industrial machine, thread, and you guessed it .....corsets !!!! A few well loved samples will be going to new homes.

Please come to our Rummage Sale this Saturday, September 11th. The store opens at noon and will close at 6pm and is located at 321 Linden St. in San Francisco.

Linden is a small alley that runs parallel to Hayes and Fell Streets and intersects with Gough.

First, thank you all for your darling birthday wishes. I've been squealing and reading them aloud to the Miracleborns.

I got another letter in my Outlook Express, from an unknown writer, who said a trojan virus had been intercepted and deleted. See attached file for details.. as if...

Also, I have seen photos of a corset purchased at the half off sale. Yummy.

This is a driveby, as I'm out the door soon, but I just wanted to announce that what was once my old column, "Writing for the Real World," has become "How to Suceed As a Failing Writer," and now lives at Gotpoetry.com.

We're kicking off with a re-run, to set the tone, but soon there will be more caustic, cyncial and hopefully entertaining and interesting musings on living a writer's life.

The newspaper the other day had an article about "CashCall". The service that Gary Coleman has been pitching. Apparantly the company does not tell you what the interest rate is until right before you sign. It can be as high as 59% (fifty nine percent)

This company, btw, is owned by DiTech (per the article)
