So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

This was already in the works, but...

SEATTLE AREA FINALE PARTY!

My place Wed., May 19th., gates open at 7, close whenever. We have a digital receiver, so we actually get a nice, crisp picture.

I'll have some snacks, some sodas, and possibly phad thai.

We do have cats, but I can lock 'em in the basement if need be.

Need directions? Profile address, she's good.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I think I'm the only one from Alaska on here, or at least from Juneau, but what the heck. I know we have other Angel fans in Juneau. Also, we're a popular cruise destination, so if you'll be away from home on this important day, you can still be with people who care.

Juneauista Angel Finale Party

My place, Wednesday, May 19th, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Email is in my profile. I live near the high school, and have a decent tv (new, bigger set was purchased for the Firefly DVDs) and couch space. Please contact me for directions and to let me know if you're coming. There will be cats, but they won't have been there long, and they'll probably be hiding.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Could people who want the Foamies to happen this year check in in the Movies thread and raise your virtual hands?

The number of nominations submitted this year was reeeeeeeeally low, and if there's no interest, then I'm not going to bother with them. But I don't want to make that assumption, so if you DO want Foamies this year, speak up.

Our wings are not tired

F2F Information

Hey there all you folks who are gathering in DC in two short weeks. I'm the person who's collecting funds to pay for the Prom and our festivities. I've got a PayPal account setup. It's at stagesound(at)earthlink(dot)net. We are collecting $22 per person attending. This is to cover the cost of the food for Prom as well as the rental cost for our PA equipment for music and theremin performances. Any extra cash that we end up with will go to having munchies in the hospitality suite and for making sure that the hotel staff gets a decent tip at the end of all of this.

Once again:

Cost: $22/person
Send to: PayPal stagesound(at)earthlink(dot)net

If you'd like to send money in some other way contact me at my profile addy and I'll give you snail mail information.

Also, if you PayPal, please tell me your board name in the comments box so that I can track who has sent me money.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I know several of you are watching carbohydrates. The baked goods on this site are MINDBLOWING (well, the chocolate mint brownie I had so far). They're not too sweet with a greasy aftertaste and all that yuckyness and are actually made with some non-laboratory ingredients.

(they have stuff, which I imagine are every bit as good, for other diets as well)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.
