Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

Mostly lurking...

I am doing my final project for my honors course at school on online discourse communities…specifically looking at the Buffistas and the Bronze…looking at their origin, membership, lexicon, changes, etc. I have a survey that I would really like the Buffistas to respond to. Also, I'm really hoping that those of you who were Bronzers will have the time to fill out the survey as well. I have some extra questions for the Bronzer Buffistas.

Please e-mail me at my profile addy to get a copy of the survey. I'd really like to have responses back by Friday, April 23 at midnight. This project is due in three weeks, so I really have to get my butt in gear and get it done.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

In case you were wondering why I've been so dark lately, I've been working hard on the launch of the new website. And--ta da!--it's finally here.

Y'all are welcome to come check out AngeLingo.

We had a vision: create an online journal for our students. The whole site is student-run: student editors, student web designers, student writers (plus the two of us advisors snuck in something). 23 articles in the first issue. As far as I can tell, this journal is the first of its kind. I hope it won't be the last.

My piece on my mother's illness is in the Life section. But there is loads of good stuff in the journal. I'm very proud of the content--I think the students done good.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hi all.

I'm writing an article on fan campaigns, and am trying to come up with an estimate of how much was given to various charities (and which ones) over the years.

If you've run a campaign of any sort, please drop me an e and let me know how much many was raised, for which charity, which show you were supporting, and any other various and sundry details (did you meet your fundraising goal? How did you choose the charity? How many people contributed to your project? Was this also a publicity project, and if so, what was your intended publicity goal? Was this part of a Save Our Show campaign? Did the cast and/or crew acknowledge your project?) that you can remember.
