Voting is now open for the following proposal:
Proposal:
This vote is to open a Politics Thread. This thread would be for any discussion regarding politics, ways to become involved in politics and other subjects having anything to do with and/or pertaining to politics. Domestic or foreign. Primarily focusing on the upcoming presidential election, but could also include local elections.
This thread will have a trial run of 3 months. At the end of that trial run, there will be another vote to decide if the thread should remain open. The outcome of that second vote will be subject to the usual 6 month moratorium.
Discussion for this proposal starts here.
Please look through it if you haven't already. It's less than 300 posts, and makes a good read.
Voting closes Thursday, April 8, at 6 PM (PST).

Please put any comments/suggestions in the F2F thread. I'll wait until Friday (Apr 9th) to open the Cafepress store, just in case. (T-shirts, hats, boxers, etc. Everything will be marked up $1, with all profits going to help defray F2F expenses.)
Snagged from Dachelle:
Hey Wonderfalls fans!
Some of you might remember that after the news came out about Angel's cancellation I took donations through PayPal to send thank-you gift baskets to the cast and crew. I'd hoped to do the same for Wonderfalls, but because it's not currently in production there's unfortunately no place to send gift baskets. However, upon the suggestion, I've decided to take donations to adopt zoo animals on behalf of the cast and crew. We really wanted a lion from the L.A. Zoo, but since it's $500 I set my sights a little lower and am now aiming to adopt a penguin from the Aquarium of Niagara Falls and a flamingo from the L.A. Zoo for a total cost of $90. Money goes toward the care and feeding of these animals.
I'm accepting donations in all amounts through PayPal at webmaster@drewgoddard.com through this Friday at 5 p.m. Central Time. I will send off the money and adoption applications on Saturday. If I get more than the $90, I'll look into adopting other animals. Notices will be sent to the cast and crew through their agents letting them know about the animals adopted in their honor.
If you have any questions about this project, you can e-mail me at webmaster@drewgoddard.com
