Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Wolfram & Hart Annual Revue News

We've just released 40 tickets, so make sure you register, now!

The Wolfram & Hart Annual Revue is a charity fundraiser that celebrates the Angel fandom. The cast and crew have generously donated items to our auction, and you can expect a few special guests to stop by and say hello.

The celebration begins on Friday night with a party hosted by CityofAngel.com to welcome our guests to Los Angeles. We've got some volunteer vamps from the show, comfy couches and games so you can relax and hang out with your friends in fandom. Fans organize luncheons and location tours as well. Check out our Wolfram & Hart Annual Revue Message Board for details on fan organized outtings during the weekend.

On Saturday night, we have the big party, from 7pm - Midnight. Darling Violetta will perform, followed by dancing and drinking and bidding on items in our charity auction. Yes, we have the amulet, and a leather jacket worn by David Boreanaz on Angel...and so much more.

Disney Derby takes place on Sunday, and you can buy a ticket when you register for the Revue. It's a scavenger hunt of epic proportions in Disneyland in Anaheim, and a long standing tradition amongst Angel fans in Southern California.

Just saw this... Drew Goddard Birthday Project

For the second year in a row, the Minions are celebrating Drew's birthday in February with a charity project. Last year, we raised over $100 to send a goat to a needy family in a developing country through Heifer International. This year, we are doing our charity project in conjunction with the Wolfram & Hart Annual Revue, which will be held in Los Angeles on February 21, just a week before Drew's birthday. At the Revue, I will present a check in the amount we collect to benefit the Al Wooten, Jr. Heritage Center, an organization that provides programs for youth in South Los Angeles.

To donate, go to PayPal and submit a payment in any amount to spikeslawyer@hotmail.com, or e-mail me and I will give you my snail mail address. I will be printing out a list of donors to include in a card to Drew, so be sure to put in the note section of Paypal the name you want on the list and any message you'd like to send to Drew. All payments must be received by February 15.

As an added incentive, two of the donors will be randomly selected to receive a copy of the Tales of the Vampires: Vol. 1 comic autographed by Drew! Winners will be notified by e-mail after February 15.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

An Upcoming Bay Area Event

Saturday, January 24, 2004, 5pm
Crossroads Bookstore/Cafe
Delancey Street Foundation
The Embaracadero at Delancey St.
San Francisco

Eight Bay Area authors, all of whom coincidentally hang out at the Readerville site sometimes, will be reading and signing, thanks to the Delancey St. Foundation. Plan to hang around afterward...the cafe offers wonderful dinners...and encourage your friends to come.

Participating authors: Susan Ito, Rosemary Graham, Russell Rowland, Danyel Smith, Ellen Sussman, Deborah Grabien, Meg Waite Clayton, Victoria Zackheim

The cafe is at the southern end of the block-long Delancey St. complex (the northern end is the large Delancey St. restaurant). There's plenty of parking on the Embarcadero, brings quarters for the meter. The cafe is across the street from Pier 40. From the street, you see the wrought iron fence surrounding its garden. The entrance is on Delancey St., which is not accessible via Embarcadero (by car), but you can drive to it by getting onto Brannan. (Embarcadero parking is easiest)

Hope to see you there.

Thanks for all the fish.

We're voting to chose the final Buffy-bot quote. Then we're going to do Faith. Because she's the 'do-that' girl.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I would like to announce, first of all, that both Raquel and Hec are big sweet dolls of dollness. A few weeks ago, Raquel posted here about some stuff she was giving away, including a pair of size 9 ladies' figure skates; unbeknownst to me, Hec emailed her and asked for them, and they arrived yesterday and are absolutely, utterly beautiful.

They are also too small, and if I actually wear them skating they will kill my feet and eat them. Therefore, I'm offering them up again to another Buffista. If, like me, you're a size 9 who fits some 9 1/2s, they will be cruel skates. If you're a straight-up 9 or, better yet, a 9 who can manage to wedge her feet into the occasional 8 1/2s, they should fit you perfectly and be your shiny new skates of beauty.

Anyone want them? Email me at my profile addy.

And, again, huge, huge thanks to Raquel (Hec already got his thanks), because even if they didn't fit they are utterly gorgeous skates and you are a kind and generous globe-trotting woman.
