What is even happening?

Okay, I'm blissfully unaware of her, other than what's been mentioned here, so if you'd like that honor, it's all yours.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's a cool-assed picture.

My sister broke her toe yesterday. I think that marks the first time either of us have broken anything, and perhaps the first for the whole immediate family.

Okay, something new about my meds or something is drying me the hell out. My throat and face feel parched.

Always Anti-fascist!

My *bones* are bigger than that, even when I cut back and allowing for the fact that my most convenient exercise is using "Infinite Jest" for a handweight(If I can do that, your book is Too Long, k?)

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I think you'd have to cut me in half to fit me into a size 2 anything. And, really, I like being a size 10. It's a good size for me. It's a size where the jeans that fit my butt are also the right length. It's a size where most of my wardrobe still lives.

My major clothing gripe (which is true of my body at any size) is that the button-down shirt industry seems to be in deep denial over the existence of boobs. I would like them to get over that, please.

What saddens me more than the packing away of the size 4, is the packing away of the vintage. Of course, the vintage clothing is all size 14 or 18, and it fit me when I was in size 6-8....

Women's clothing sizes are CRAXY.

I have two super dresses that fit at size 16 and fit at size 4 and they fit currently now even with a burgeoning house sized belly. They are magic.

Ann, that's a ferret.

((((ita's sister)))) Luckily, a little gauze and surgical tape should bandage that up nicely.

in deep denial over the existence of boobs

Or at least put a button where most women's breasts are so that the gaping need not happen so blatantly.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Women's sizing makes me crazy. That said, I've lost enough weight lately that my favorite jeans are beginning to hang off me, and I'm sad because I'll have to buy new ones, and I love these jeans. Sigh.

I'm home sick with the awfuls, and bored enough to be surfing LJ randomly, and I found this, which I must share with Buffistas: [link]

OMG the cuteness!

God, I'm out of Aleve Sinus--I'll have to leave the house, damnit.

I find that shirts which fit at the waist (non-preggers version) are uncomfortably tight across the chest, and that shirts which fit up top are absurdly tent-ish at the waist. And I'm not even really that large-chested/small waisted.

Vince Vaughn made me late to work this morning.

Also, I somehow survived the three hour meeting with HR, and now I have a ginormous pile of work to do. Isn't that always the way?
