It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

Ugh I fuckin HATE Bourdain.

haircuts were achieved. I am pretty sure I am going to be unhappy with mine, but whatevernext time I will book earlier and get my regular lady. Mac looks cute as a cute thing and did very well, even for a sickie head. McDs was consumed after and now superman and batman are being consumed via video.

I need to get SOMETHING done today.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I love and lust after Tony Bourdain in all his snarky, skinny, smart, sensual glory. Yeah, he's got attitude and substance abuse problems but he's got such passion for the world.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have no passion for the world. Where can I get some of that? What I do have is an upset stomach, a dizzy head, a class to teach in less than half an hour, and then marathon training.

I'd totally trade most of that for passion for the world.

brillig

Bourdain's Travel Channel show comes with a parental guidance warning. I adore that. And all I've ever seen him do is smoke endlessly and get tipsy. Maybe that's enough, in this world.

Art Crawl!!!

Plus, he eats just about anything on that show.

Perhaps that's a chefly quality?

(The show is called No Reservations .)

I'm making oatmeal bread and cleaning house. Have no desire to go into the outside world, even if a movie I want to see is playing at the Parkway. Bah.
