Back in high school, when I did actually weigh like 125, I was a size 10-11 Juniors. The bones, they don't compress even if the rest of me does.
I was surprised that my clothing size was smaller, once I abandoned junior sizing (odd numbered sizing). I'd be a 9 or an 11 in juniors, and a 6 or an 8, otherwise, and I had one suit that hit the fabled size 4, but it was a great suit.
I think I went from children's size 14 right to a juniors 5. I don't remember there being such a thing as a 3 or a 1 (never mind a 0) when I was a teenager.
Not to make this all-Manhattan all-the-time day but I was reading an article in the NYT (...I really should get to work) about a new transit hub and it was so confusing reading the text about how this and that train will connect to one another and then you walk from this line to that. I didn't have high hopes for the graphic but I looked at it anyway...and it is the coolest graphic ever! It's all animated, even down to the commuter reading a newspaper and the sunlight streaming through the outside entrance to the terminal: [link]
NYC smell update: The area around GCT no longer smells farty. Huzzah!

You'd hardly be a Manhattanite if you didn't try.
Seriously, though, that was a kickass graphic. I gave them feedback to that effect.

In the first slide, at the top right corner of the "Site of Fulton Street Transit Center" caption, is the building I work in.

Tom's little silhouette man with a newspaper!

It really sets the standard for depiction of human navigation of complex architecture.
That was an excellent graphic! Thanks for the link.
I get that. I'm busting out of my 12s at this point. I felt fat at weights I'd kill to be now, and really, feel no more fat (in that I'm no more down on myself) even though I'm at least 30 lbs heavier. I just feel like me, and never felt small/slim/whatever, even when I was. That I was, is only even seeable to me, now that I'm not.
You know, sometimes I think that Cindy may be my split personality that I'm (as yet) unaware of.
Or maybe I've been watching too much
Heroes.
The only way I could be a 2 is to cut off my legs.
And I don't think I'm ginormous, just not cut out for the "pillow angel" thing.
