Plei, I need to thank you for recommending wet'n'wild liquid eyeliner
And I, in turn, need to thank Allyson. I love the stuff.
I've never been able to get the smoky eye thing right.
Part of the trick is to do most of the smoky part with a lighter shade of shadow than you'd think you'd be using, and to smudge the crap out of your liner. Q-Tips work well for that.
Allyson's eyes were what prompted me to return to liquid. I just remembered your recs in particular.
I really should just subject myself to a makeup counter (especially since it appears my drugstore powder of choice has been discontinued, I really liked it and have only one compact left,) but I'm so DIY, it's haaaaarrrrrrdddd.
Mind the gap.
OMG, nothing was funnier than that when I was in London at 19.
What's your drugstore powder?
I love WNW liquid eyeliner. And their concealer.
Hi!
Eyeliner is tricky, frustrating, and fun.
I passed out in a nap this afternoon during prime productivity hours. I now have a headache, and feel a vague urge to go to The Grove to visit the Genius Bar at Apple. Anyone wanna go with me?
What are you doing at the Genius Bar, Alibelle?
I have a stupid allergy problem to deal with. Haven't worked out which lip product ingredient it is yet, but I can tell by putting it on my lips--takes less than a minute before the bad tingling, the tingling that presages the rash, starts. Adds a layer of fun to shopping for lip colour.
Next time I go hunting, I need to make sure my nails are done. I have been pretty happy with the Black Honey Glosswear by Clinique, but I want something a bit less transparent than that--and I have the precise nailpolish--and wickedly wet and shiny.
