So now I'm watching the subway episode of Homicide, and I realize that when it aired, I took the bus to work, so I didn't feel the pain of the commuters unable to take that train line, and also wondering if maybe that's what happened on my train yesterday.
Probably not.
Wow, that neckline is just, wow.
Also? That epicanthic fold is a bitch on eye makeup.
Oh Gods! Not Wiesel! I'm so glad that he's okay. Fucking whackaloon holocaust deniers.

You mean when it was filmed? Cause they used a DC car (and maybe line, I dunno.) I just recall that from the PBS special on it.
I do eyeliner and mascara (in addition to covering the uneven spots and zits with foundation, and then all over powder.) I've gone back and forth between crayon and liquid eyeliner. Currently on a liquid kick, thanks to Plei and Allyson and availability. I tend to not do much eyeshadow, but that is sheer laziness and morningness. I can do it, though mostly subtly. Dramatic seems to escape me. Nothing fancy, I pretty much stick to 2 palattes: purple (sounds more dramatic than it is) and khaki (greenish.) Pretty much depends on what I'm wearing. Had green or naturals? The khaki thing. Otherwise, purple.
Hil, that's awful. People can suck so much.
I feel like I need to go to cosmetics university. I can do myself up, but I never have any confidence, and can't be bothered most of the time. Also, I look better fresh faced. The smouldering look, which I love on other people, always looks more sort of tawdry and pathetic on me (to me, anyhow).
It's all a matter of practice. Which, okay, hard with three kids, but I learned (keeping in mind that a lot of what I learned, I learned hanging with theatre types) by being willing to play around and pretend my face was a canvas.
I've never been able to get the smoky eye thing right.
Plei, I need to thank you for recommending wet'n'wild liquid eyeliner. In high school, I could get a random liquid eyeliner my aunt would send from Egypt, but didn't find it elsewhere (duh,) which is why I returned to crayon when I ran out. I like the liquid so much more. Luckily, other brands seem to be providing it since the WNW racks always look like they've been sacked by Vikings!

Yeah, I mean when it aired, really.

Heh. I was afraid of the gap BEFORE I ever saw that ep. Courtesy of riding a Prague metro wedged in the freaking open door down a tunnel. Nothing like that to make you kinda jumpy.
