Handsome brooding vampire guy has to swoop in all sensitive mouth and overhanging forehead. How 'bout leaving some scraps for the homely-looking fellows who don't turn evil when they get some?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

HEY! Shouldn't you be soaking your finger?

That's one way of putting it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yes, yes, Boston has lots of great virtues. I love Boston. But even Pittsburgh could put up a list comparable to this...

The Museum of Fine Arts! The Symphony and the Pops! The Head of the Charles Regatta! Old North Church! Berklee School of Music! The Public Gardens!

But I can't think of many institutions which would qualify as the Most Important or Most Influential on the world stage, aside from Harvard (and all its many grad schools) and MIT. Which is not nothing as those institutions alone are massively important. But in most instances (publishing, finance, theater etc) it would have to defer to NYC, as San Francisco would have to defer to LA or Silicon Valley. (Not that long ago, SF could lay some claim as an important financial center but that was before BofA got hijacked and the Pacific Stock Exchange disappeared.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor sick Mac. I hope he feels better soon.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who laughed at the no more lancing instruction.

So far today, I've managed to stay upright, gotten a raise, and read some fic, so I'm going to count it as a win.
