Punishingly Intricate

Anyone else watching Top Design?

Yes! I don't really have a favorite yet but thought they were right to get rid of John. What was he thinking not doing a floor AT ALL?!

I have to agree with what Jesse's says her ex would say, though, that they are decorating not designing, for the most part.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I love Jonathan Adler.

All the judges are great! And they seem to be eliminating people in the right order so far, so I'm happy.

So I should stop complaining about my beverage.

Yes, you should.

Yay, for found doggie, and boo, on stuck-in-the-50s animal control people!!

Also, yay for tax refunds being direct deposited on schedule! I can now go to the optometrist's tomorrow morning and order my glasses, as well as get some other things taken care of.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I keep meaning to watch Top Design but I forgot. Which is really, really lazy, since I have Tivo and don't have to remember, just set it up.

Speaking of also really lazy first world problems, the SO let me sleep in today and went to run errands, including getting my groceries, so I could finish up my paperwork. But then I called to tell him to add bok choy to his list and he didn't take his phone with him. So now I'm beeping at myself every ten minutes to tell me that I called me. And I'm too lazy to go fix it.

There was something else, too, but I'm too lazy to remember it.

I've been at work for about 20 minutes now, and all I can say is WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK IS WRONG WITH TODAY???

Wow, not something anyone should have to say on a Friday. I'm sorry your day is of the suck, Jess.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Here's an assortment of some fairly horrifying (and some NSFW) Valentine's Day presents, courtesy of a guy I know. [link]

I agree with you about The Office, Cindy. I'm really liking Roy. He's not so bad. Not the future Mr. Pam Beesly, but not so bad.

Are electric razors faster than shaving with a blade?

I'm not sure if they're faster, but you can use them in places you can't (or can't easily) use a blade, such as a car. Although it's probably not the best thing to be doing in a public place if you're a commuter (thought potentially entertaining and might get you a seat by yourself).

Sometimes I have trouble dragging my lazy ass out of bed on time, so I'll often end up skipping shaving....

I'm like Gud in that I found the electrics irritated me. My solution to the time-factor problem is to shave in the shower. Of course, I had to practice to get good at shaving blind, essentially.

Now I want to find that whole conversation about shaving from BARCELONA.

Are you threatening me?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Isn’t he supposed to be on the wagon? Or did you mean like Mailboxes, etc.?

Package store = liquor store.

I dunno. I don't drink and I go there all the time. I was getting a pack of smokes and a Mexican Coke.
