sarameg, my pillow, seen here on the hotel bed is already enormous and oddly shaped to accomodate my belly.
OK, I want to know. Did you carry the giant fluffy slug on the plane or check it? Cause for some reason, the idea of it as a carryon cracks me up.
The ring pillow wasn't much bigger than my head. It was one of a bunch of pillows my grandma made for me.
I'm moving offices today! Today is excitement!
bon, to a better office?
Checked. keep in mind that the body pillow is as large as i am!
Also, just had an unsatisfying starbucks experience as they don't make my favorite drink here. Phoey. But I still have a large green tea (sans lemonade and not sweetened with something lemony). And I'm poolside and waiting for my free breakfast. And the torches that are lit along Kalakau are still burning and I can hear the ocean.
So I should stop complaining about my beverage.
Someone should point this out to Nilly when she's around....
Is 17 the "most random" number?
On Saturday, I posted a poll asking readers to simply pick a number between 1 and 20. I promised I'd explain what this is all about, so here goes.
The poll was inspired by this post on Pharyngula, which in turn was inspired by this article on Cosmic Variance. The idea is that 17 will always be the most common answer when people are asked to choose a number between 1 and 20. But neither Cosmic Variance nor Pharyngula offered a reasonable means of testing this proposition. That's where our poll came in. This morning, I took a look at our data, and with 347 responses, I can confirm that 17 is significantly more popular than any number. Take a look at the chart:
YAY! Good office, bon! Okay. I should leave the pool and go wake Lori because I'm FAMISHED and breakfast is in 30 minutes.
Have a lovely day all!
YAY, amych's dog being found!
BOO, the shelter that has no concept of modern marriage and identity.
amych, glad to know the dog has been located. Hope he's able to make it home soon.
Boring work day.
