And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've been at work for about 20 minutes now, and all I can say is WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK IS WRONG WITH TODAY???

I think the Universe called in sick. I demand a do-over.

Universe, be nice to Jessica.

sarameg, my pillow, seen here on the hotel bed is already enormous and oddly shaped to accomodate my belly. So I'm not sure I could find one WITH a whole shaped cutout for my ears. I'll take belly comfort over ear comfort any day.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Man, I wish I were in Hawaii. Although! It's warming up here! Today's high? 33! Although, isn't it ass o'clock in the morning there?

Is there some kind of bitter Cheerios war between the Plain and Honey Nut camps? Because some of my coworkers seem disappointed and suspicious that I'm a Plain.

What is even happening?

msbelle, I say call the doctor (or rather, since you've already decided to call the doctor, I say, "Good for you.").

The doctor or nurse will probably give you an antibiotic topical ointment. Mac's doctor fear will also probably be eased some, because it's likely to be a very low-trauma visit. They'll weigh him, take his temperature, look at his sore finger, and maybe listen to his breathing, and he'll get to go home with you. So he'll be upset on the way, but after, he'll have that "That wasn't so bad" feeling, which will serve you well for when he gets actually sick in the future, and has to go see the doctor.

HA! GC, did I mention that I'm in Hawaii as part of a grad class, that I'm getting credit for? And we're leaving on a cruise in a day or so?

But yeah, poolside wireless rocks. It's what I'm using right now.

Of course, it's 5:20 AM here. And I've been up since about 3:45 AM. But that's okay.

Right now, it's 68 degrees and I'm sitting barefoot, in yoga pants and a tshirt near a pool. Granted it's supposed to rain today and every day of my trip. But oh well.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
