Phew! You all were talky meat today! I just caught up.
msbelle, get-better-ma to you and Mac. I think a doc visit is a good idea, if for nothing else than finding out for sure that everything is fine.
Amy, I'm wishing so much doggy-come-home-ma to you...there's little worse than not knowing where a loved pet is. {{{you}}}
Yeah, pretty close. Goth is more about decadance, while emo seems to be more about wallowing in your sadness. I think. I haven't been able to get a clear answer out of any emo kids I talk to, but that may be due to my smiling at them and telling them that I think they're oh! so adorable.
I
t heart
Jilli. Which should surprise no one.
Oh my god, I caught up before the thread ended. Assuming I can hit "post" before the turnover.
Telescoped-meara:
Yay to people who had good things happen, and aw to people who had bad things happen.
tommyrot-
Ooh! Maybe Tesla and Edison each built giant flying robots, and the explosion was the result of the two robots battling it out in space!
You need to read Five Fists of Science. Like, NEED.
...Actually, I think I promised to send a copy of it to someone else here, back before it came out. Possibly Jessica. Or Jesse. Or, um, someone else, but those seem like likely candidates. I wonder if I can dig up the post. Since I'm likely to go buy a bunch of comics tomorrow. Whee!
Allyson-
I don't know if Max Brooks is taken, but clearly he needs to marry me so we can talk about zombies all day!
Yay!
Oh, and the Richard Dawkins documentary on religion is online here. I watched the first part when I was bored at the hotel one night, but haven't seen part 2 yet. It's not remotely tolerant, so believers may want to skip it, but I thought the atheists here might be interested.
Aw! Daniel just called to tell me he got a kiss from a porn star. I miss him already. Sniff.
Holy crap, y'all. 600 posts since this morning? Like old times.
Amy, dog-come-home-ma to you. One of my worst nightmares.
t grabs dog, holds her close
t falls backward as dog shoves
t yells "mean!" at dog and goes in for another (one-sided) hug.
OK, does iTunes radio edit? Cause I downloaded a song purported from a Citizen Cope album (not some variation) and there's this one song (bullet & a target) in which it sounds like there's a moment of radio edit. Except maybe it's an album edit. Damned if I know. But I don't want radio edits. I'm all about the profanity.
iTunes sells clean versions of a few songs, Sarameg, so that might be what you're getting.
I had totally planned to wallow in the gym hot tub after kettlebell, but hunger overcame me so I did grocery shopping and went to stop by the pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions. Oh, no. Yet another "Wait! You're not covered!" thing. COBRA sucks, man.
Yeah, but getting to claim continuous coverage when you're insured under your new company rocks. May it be soon.
And also, much dog-ma. The Biscuit is asleep on my foot right now. I'd be wild with concern if it were me.

In addition to, yes? I recall choices on clean versus explicit versions. But I might be remembering wrong.

If they don't pay for my meds now, it's not doing me much good.
