Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Wanna help me write the exam? It's physics, but a very basic level of it.

1. Please explain the quantum uncertainty principle, and it's implications for the actual existence of the Universe.

2. Provide a unifying theory the reconciles everything we know about physics and the Universe.

I wish I could help but I'm too ignorant of physics to even know what to ask! Oh, Brain, why you contain such large quantities of such trivial information?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Dude, like a bazillion fire trucks just passed by. What's going on here in Santa Monica?

I try to write as many questions as possible in terms of amusement park rides. Almost all of the basic Newtonian physics can be very well explained using amusement park rides.

Always Anti-fascist!

All I know about physics is: If you drop something, it'll hit the floor eventually. and drinking stuff makes the pill float down your throat(Which I also know as "fluid mechanics") Now, I'm out.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh -- Anna Nicole Smith really DID die.

That's what I probably deserve for skipping like 200 "who said what" posts. But since I'm never quoted, my lack of interest is perhaps only slightly justified.

My friend was a physics teacher, and Kings Dominon would have "Physics Day" where students went for free and had to do problems about the rides.

That's AWESOME.

I can't believe it's not even 5 yet, especially given I didn't get here until 10. WTF?

That's so cool!

If I were able to afford it, that's exactly what I'd do with my students - take them to the amsement park and then spoil it all for them by making them solve rollercoaster and ferris wheels questions.

If you seated in a closed car with a helium balloon and the car accelerates forward does the balloon move backward, forward, or neither relative to you?
