Xander: Look who's got a bad case of Dark Prince envy. Dracula: Leave us. Xander: No, we're not going to "Leabbb you." And where'd you get that accent, Sesame Street? "One, Two, Three - three victims! Maw ha ha!"

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Speaking of Bay Area rain, it's pouring so hard it sounds like someone banging on sheet metal outside.

Wow.

It's not snowing here!

Watching local news (I usually avoid because it is usually goofy lame crap. See SUPERSIZED PETS.) Someone (an individual) put up a low-income family in a really comfy hotel when the landlord left the heat broken and the landlord's been pinned to fix the situation. It's kinda nice. I've a preference for institutional change and broad solutions, but it's lovely to see nice people step in when those are not enough.

The Violent Femmes as background music for a Wendy's sandwich commercial is just wrong.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's pretty much a tautology.

What song was it?

Nuthin' I can say when I'm in your fries.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Eta: I have added ginger vodka to my shopping list. Damn, that sounds good.

actually, I don’t think that you have to buy it, you can probably infuse it at home. Might take some time, though. Wikihow has this to say -- [link]

What song was it?

Blister in the Sun

The beginning part, before the singing.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Looks like there was a kaboom at a chemical plant here in KC.

Any idea how far the smoke and ash are drifting?

One of the people on the CNN panel who was dissing atheists has written more about it in her blog: [link]

I think this woman is insane.

I don't mind receiving the atheist hate mail, since I know that in a few years, many of these same people will either be Muslim extremists (redundant) or helping the country fall further in its fight against the creep of Islamic imposition on America . . . or both.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Tonight's Criminal minds seems to be the second part of a two parter, and I missed the first part. Does anyone know what the first part was called, or when it aired?
