Another sickie waving from her home computer!
I had a low-grade fever overnight, as well as a pounding headache that only got worse with every coughing jag, which caused the whole head to feel like it was about to crack open. The fever broke near sunrise and the headache is mostly gone (reduced to a dull throbbing in the base of the skull), but I was not in the mood to venture out into the cold and infect my co-workers. I very reluctantly ate breakfast, and am debating if lunch is even worth it right now.
I ate a giant cup of blueberry yogurt this morning. I shouldn't be hungry already. And yet...
Thank you, ita.
And tommyrot's link won't let me in. You really do have a secret plot, don't you??
Yuck, Kathy. Feel better soon.
ETA: And same goes for the rest of the sickies, of course.
I wanted to call in sick today. Not because I was sick, but because my bed was cosy and warm, and I was in the middle of a cat snuggle sandwich. It's cruel and unusual punishment to force a person from such a cosy, happy place.
It appears that my current reaction to "Don't Stop Believin'" coming on the radio is now to laugh out loud, crank it up, think of several of you people, and belt it out.
My husband always tries to change the radio station before I can get to "HEAVEN'S JUST A FUNKY MOOSE!"

But Heaven
is
just a funky moose, and we should never forget it!
I don't think I know this song. However, I am currently at risk of being randomly earwormed by Sometimes When We Touch. At any time. Out of nowhere. Damned brains.

Is the honesty just too much?
(Sorry, I just can't help myself....)
The earworm made me go and look up the lyrics, and I don't hate them anywhere near as much as I hate the song. The words reminscent of Prince's Strange Relationship. The song it self is reminscent of everything that's ever been wrong with music.
