Jayne: Anybody remember her comin' at me with a butcher's knife? Wash: Wacky fun.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Not wrong. Saying no when someone asks for a favor is okay.

Anyone else need a decision validated?

This is why I love you people.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

From this morning:

From the article:

Frozen pipes closed one downtown Chicago Starbucks for several hours Monday, and employee Jerry Berry, 24, said some customers stood in disbelief for several moments before moving on to the next shop a few blocks away.

I wondered why they didn't just go to the one across the street.

HA! But also, the one across the street probably had the same water main problem?

That totally happened to me this morning. Up to an including the dumb incomprehension. Both coffee shops on my block had burst pipes.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I don't like today, and it refuses to die.

Why?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Because it's ornery. Kick it in the shins.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I could definitely do that.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

The minutes are just clinging to that little hand aren't they?

The minutes are just clinging to that little hand aren't they?

With superglue on their grubby little fingers, too.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

OMG yes.

Be 5:30 already!

Yes, I'm posting from the new workplace, such a bad employee. But hey, I passed on learning how to get around the webfiltering so I could get to gmail and google chat, so I figure I've got karma to burn.

Also, second day of new job doesn't seem like a good time to learn how to buck the system. Give me at least a couple of weeks to get bitter.

Speaking of bitter (okay, not), I have a lovely view of San Francisco and Mount Tamalpais from my cubicle window. It's just about enough to make up for not having a door or an office anymore.
