Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I went out for a coworker's birthday lunch, and had a delicious chicken and bacon sandwich. Now I don't want to work, even though I have GOT TO make at least significant progress on at least one of the several things I have to do this week.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Grrr. Indian place one street over won't do carryout. Buffet only.

The next closest place is actually vegetarian. I'm pretty sure I want samosas. Anything else look good on this menu? [link]

Oh, come now, David Hewlett loves me. I'm sure he'd do it for free.

Dear David Hewlett,

Our mutual and beloved friend Dana has shuffled off this mortal coil, and it was her dying wish that you fly to Chicago in order to make out with me. I truly hope that you can help me respect her memory in this way!

Information and directions to her funeral service are enclosed.

Love,
shrift

I amloving work today. my boss and the boss of another dept. are out. also out is a person I halfway supersize. anyway, the result is, I am completely controlling the direction and workof 4 people and no one is interrupting me.

Another dept boss has tried to step in, but I politely gave him the kabosh.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Daisy, the Buddha's Delight (includes a samosa!) and Bombay Sage look good. Also the dahl.

I have never in my life seen the word "enchilada" on an indian food menu.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I unearthed a bottle of robutussin CF in my desk. It has the good stuff. Man, I hope that formulation didn't get changed too!

Well, this is Texas. I don't think you're allowed to have a menu without enchilada on it.
