Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

brillig

I saw that very same Identity thing, and I didn't recognize Bruce Jenner either--and I saw the Olympics he was in. I simply didn't recognize him. Is that the one where they had Miss USA in the skimpy bikini that did nothing for her other than to show how scarily bony she is? I'm always amazed the contestants can do as well as they do.

Crap. I apparently picked up guacamole dip not actual guac. It's too salty (and yes, I prefer homemade, but I didn't have time.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I thought it was weird that I didn't recognize her, after seeing her on Project Runway and the actual pageant. She must have lost weight since then, what with all the partying.

And the kissing. Don't forget the kissing.

A notorious calorie-burner, it's true.

Although I'd still blame it on the coke first.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I kind of love it that Erik Estrada is going to be on Armed and Famous.

Not enough to watch it, but enough to smile when I think about it.

-t speaks for me in this instance.

I'm also with Matt that this could very well be a recipe for disaster and I worry for the people that end up with the celebs responding to their calls.

IO-police-related news, my cousin is currently going through the police academy for real. He related how he's been doing pretty much average in everything, but when they got to the baton, he was kicking everyone's butt. Probably one of the rare instances where training with a sword and playing a combat LARP actually has real-world benefits.

As one of my other cousins noted, sometimes it pays to be a dork.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The show is kind of interesting, except for the fact that they draaaggg.... outtttt.... evvvvery.... thinnnggggg.

Just one of many current game shows to mistake dead air for suspense. I blame Regis.

Re: Egg delivery

My neighbour gave me the name and number of her milkman. He's been delivering dairy products to them for over 25 years.

I know exactly what you mean! I don't want to see that movie with Sean Bean. . . except that Sean Bean looks particularly good in the ads.

Right there with you both.

The boy who delivers my eggs

Egg delivery! So cool!

I'd guestimate I go through about a half dozen eggs in a week, at most.

But if you had fresh egg delivery, maybe you'd use more! I'm just saying.

I saw part of this video yesterday [link] of people shooting computers (that had charges of something under them to make bigger booms), and Tom's recycling thing reminded me to ask... isn't that, aside from the firearms and exploding metal/plastic bits, dangerous? Aren't there dangerous chemicals or something? And that's why you can't just dump your monitor any old way?

I do. I didn't used to eat that many, but the person that had this apartment before me set up the delivery, and it sounded good, so I continued. Now, it's like when I had Urban Organics in the city--I ate way more veggies because there were always more coming the next week. In both cases, the day before is "Shit, I better finish this up" day.
