Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My father is in his 70s. My mother turns 70 this year. Your post makes me hold my selfish breath, sarameg.

Saw Kiss Kiss Bang Bang tonight. Fuck, that movie was funny. And so terribly quotable. Moviegoing partner will be muttering ficus randomly and plentifully for the next little while.

Cake was had.

Oh, goodness! That smile is priceless!

{{{sarameg}}} Hope you got some good sleep.

Allyson, I hope you hear from your landlord. That’s a host of problems!

Damn. Now I’m sad I just sent it back to Netflix. My brother recommended it, but I had it for a month, which is my new deadline for sending back.

I’m off to “Chick Super Bowl” in a while. Should be fun—a bunch of girls watching ice skating all day!

VW, Chick Super Bowl sounds fun!

Stayed up too late watching Grey's Anatomy last night. I know I'm not a big Meredith fan, but how she deals with her mother is the thing that always gets me. It's the only time that I don't feel like shaking her. I thought George was an irritant for not really explaining to Callie that it wasn't his friends who caused a wigging, but ALSO the patient's BF not knowing anyone. Sloane did end up looking like a self-serving prick. and Christina and Burke made me smile. I know I'm supposed to look askance at him because of IW's gross insensitivity but I still love Burke. He character, obviously is not the man and I hope the man is not the character either. Though he'd be better off if he were more Burkian.

Good, VW, thanks for asking. I mean freaked out, overwhelmed, vaguley uncomfortable and unclear on how I got to this point, but physically good. Except I didn't do my homework for today.

how are you doing? Were you inconvenienced by the light brite scare?

Okay random question for the ages:

Why are maternity clothes made in horizontal stripes? Seriously.

Also, what do you do when coworker has a baby 4 months before you and gives the baby the EXACT names you adore?

All of those things sound relatively normal. Including the homework :). Welcome to being a student! I'm glad you're doing well. I haven't gotten to "talk" to you much lately.

I'm doing well--really well, actually. I was not too inconvenienced by the light brite scare, which is amazing, since I ride both of the T lines that were closed, during the times that they were closed, without incident. I got lucky, I guess.

Because stupid people design them. Still.

Use 'em anyway. It's a co-worker. It's not like it's family.

It's cool to think that the city responded in a way that was mostly effective and efficient. Even if it was over something so, to most, clearly not a threat.

Gah. homework. I should put on clothes to wear for the rest of the day and go have brekkie and a hot tea and THEN do my work. Class starts at 8. dont' want to go.

Are you done with school, VW? I feel awful for not remembering.

Don't feel awful! It's so hard to keep up with everyone.

I am not done. Actually, I've got two years left! GAH! But, it's moving along well.
