That's not what making out sounds like -- unless I'm doing it wrong?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It must all seem so impossible and probably uncertain to him, you know? I mean, he's had all these huge changes and surprises--he must be looking for promises that it's done.

Definitely. But how can a five year old even imagine being nine, you know?

Unrelatedly, I still heart Prince.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

msbelle, can I borrow him? I promise I won't break him. I'm also borrowing Spirit (one of Kat's twins) so he'll have good company. I'll just train and return.
What about Opportunity?

I'd send the nephlet but he's already strong enough. He doesn't need skillz until I have the defenses.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think he just wants to make sure he gets cake.

What about Opportunity?

It's sort of an experiment.

He doesn't even care about cake!

He doesn't care about cake, he already gets gifts all the time...

Okay, I think he's just making sure that msbelle will be there when he's 9. Which is really old, and is forever away.

Our wings are not tired.

Prince! Rock on. Things are rather crazy around here about the SuperBowl. Huh. I mean I get that it's big, but it seems crazier than usual. All kinds of warning about street closures tonight and tomorrow for various celebrations. Not near the stadium, but 20 miles away in South Beach and downtown Miami.

Sadly, I will not be partying with Prince tonight.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Sadly, I will not be partying with Prince tonight.

I have a friend who did! Well at least got to dance with him (and others) to two songs!

Yes. And awwwww.

So, I just interviewed someone, and she already emailed me a thank you with the writing samples I asked for. She only left here at 1 o'clock! Sweet.

The monthly reports have begun. This means that I will spend the next 3 hours hauling reams of printer paper. Woo.

Skinner box!

It's probably good that my sister waited until I moved out of state to have twins. Not that I would be mean, but the possibilities are just Right There.
