I nearly got trapped inside Caribou this morning. I had to use all of my body weight to counteract the wind pushing on the outer door.
There are some days staying trapped would be preferable. Haven't come to a conclusion on this one yet.

Actually, the biggest culprit in the media scare was the local TV media, who interrupted all their programming (and in once case went without commercial breaks) to breathlessly give a minute by minute account of the "scare". Because, working here in downtown Boston, mere blocks from some of the Mooninite sites there really wasn't much of a fuss at all.
As far as I'm concerned, we had a pretty good "this is not a test" drill of Boston emergency procedures AND we got somebody else to pay the bill for it. I actually do feel kind of safer.
I am highly disappointed in the lack of snow storm -- it's supposed to rain here later. NOT COOL.
Also I am disappointed in the fact that it's been taking me an hour or more to get to work all week. It's a 45 minute commute! OK, maybe 50. But not 65, for crying out loud!!
And I have a lot of work to do and no motivation to do it. Ah well.

I plead the persistent headache I've had all morning -- woke up with it, and it's outlasted my best attempts to get rid of it. I've tried everything short of snorting Drano.

I am ONLY when I'm 3 timezones behind my normal one and there are interesting people to talk to and interesting things to do! I can even manage to roll out of bed and be cheery every so often in those circs, but you may note that usually I went straight to shower and get dressed before joining the People.
Getting up to go for work? NSM.

right, sara. It seems it's not morning you object to but WORK. Which makes perfect sense to me.
Does the large work okay if it's loose at the calf?
Better than nothing, I think. The Ace bandage solution wasn't working well, and it destroys the bandage so quickly.
