Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

BONES: I was really happy that they definitively resolved the Epps story line. While it was nice having an arch-villain for several episodes, stretching it out much further would have resulted in diminishing returns, I think.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

The news here last night had the police and the manager of a local ice cream shop searching the roof of said ice cream shop for Mooninites, which have allegedly been placed all over Austin, too. That was sorta delightful.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG I'm so eyerolly at work today, I can't even describe it. I'm supposed to figure out time to meet with higher-ups, who are all in a meeting that runs through lunch. Then there's a surprise party at 2, then my boss has a 2:30, then there's a training that I just found out is mandatory from 3-5. And the Executive Assistant is in the big meeting with the higher-ups. WTF, people. Seriously. I'm just going to sit here and see when they want me -- how the fuck am I supposed to figure out when they're available? They're all together, and I'm just here. BAH.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Birthday Olivia!

Punishingly Intricate

Lisah DOES totally have the coolest friends.

I really do!!!

Maybe I'll get some tights from Sock Dreams today. But which ones??? There are so many options. I'm intrigued by the wool ones from Bella. My friend carries Bella socks (but not the tights) and they are super cozy and soft.

I am sad about Molly Ivins as well. She was in my Dad's generation of liberal activist Texans. And she was way too young to die. fucking cancer.
