I'm bummed for more shallow reasons now--the swimsuit I ordered in the hopes of being able to use it starting this weekend at the lap pool arrived tonight, and has proved to be cut for a woman of more traditional weight issues than mine (IOW, it's designed for a woman with hips and tits, not an apple-shaped one like me). Now I have to mail it back tomorrow and look elsewhere for another swimsuit. My sister found a few at Junonia, so I'm going to take a look over there on payday this Friday.

Top Chef: Well, I'm sad. I just hated everyone on Ilan's team. And I had hoped that this year they would be rewarding creativity but I guess not. I hope that Marcel finds lots of opportunities after this.

And ION, my apartment is FREEZING. I have now turned ALL the heaters up to high and I can't get it to 60 degrees. My hands are shivering on the keyboard. I'm amazed I can type at all.

Me too, Sumi. As much as Marcel is an irritating little git, his food looked really good, and really creative. (I don't know that I'd call it "innovative" with Wylie Dufresne at the table, but it was definitely a more advanced menu than Ilan put out.)

Yeah, I was kind of bummed at that too.

ita beat me to it but I have to reiterate, sock dreams rocks. They have the best tights evah and I love their longer socks. Plus they have these rockin' shorter socks where it looks like a shark is eating your foot and of course, though not for Dana, the best adult sized ruffled anklets.

I loved Ma Petite Shoe was adorable. I found the tights I liked when I was there, which was excellent. So fun!
