I look more rad than Lutheranism

Am I the only one woozy with the merchantile genius of combining shoes and chocolate? Genius!

lisah's friend's store? No, it's brilliant!

lisah, you have the coolest friends. A shoe AND chocolate store?

For those who can't make it to lisah's friend's store, chocolate shooooz!!!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm also feeling the lack of cute socks right now. Think I may order some from lisah's friend's store.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Those socks at lisa's friend's store are fabulous.

Kat also swears by Sock Dreams. Not to steal thunder.

I have three pairs of what I consider old-school Mary Jane's, which are fabric. One is the flat Chinese kind which I don't wear that much. Then I have a pair with iridescent dragonflies, and the other one has red dragons.

Modified MJs, I have two of. One pair of character shoes, and one a pair of retro-styled T-strap with stacked heels.

Stupidly I went to Zappos to find a good example, and I fell in love. I am a slut for the MJ, modified or no.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Didn't go swimming today. Did 30 minutes on the treadmill instead, while watching Homicide on DVD.(Just starting season 5, and boy do they suck at certain types of transitions)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Good lord. I heard about the Sullivan Square device at work, but I got mondo-busy in the afternoon and didn't hear anything more until I got all the way to the dealership in Belmont to pick up my car... and then it turns out that major portions of the city were (temporarily) shut down?

At least it's nice to know that if there were a major simultaneous terror "incident", Boston does actually know how to spring into action.

Not quite the way you'd want to get publicity for your show, really.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I LOVE those shoes, ita. Too much $$ for me, but I will wait for them to show up at Shoe Pavilion at a hefty discount and grab me a pair.

Except, honestly? There is no such thing as "bad" PR.

People are talking about it, right? It has the name "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" on people's lips (and keyboards)? Even though it was a dumb dumb dumbass thing to do -- it still has people talking.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Except, honestly? There is no such thing as "bad" PR.

The idea that a viewer of the show would stop watching because of something like this is pretty absurd. But I imagine their budget might get a little pinched.

Cartoon Network is somewhere in the planning stages of a separate network for Adult Swim-- this can only be gravy for that.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

But I imagine their budget might get a little pinched.

That was my first thought too -- if the cleanup for this stunt ends up costing more than they bargained for, they may be left with a priceless amount of buzz and no production budget.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, the mysterious device was an LED of one of the Mooninites. He's giving the finger. I have the t-shirt!
