Sarameg, I'm thinking about taking down Christmas decorations. I think you have me beat for the excitement factor.

What? Just leaving the garland in a lump on the front porch doeesn't count?
Taking down Christmas decorations is on the list for this weekend, after going to the eye doctor to order new glasses and (a new addition to the list in the past few minutes) maybe having to come into work for a few hours. Um, yay?
Unpacking my kitchen!!!!
I think I'm cleaning the bathroom. Does that make you feel better?
I avoid having to take down decorations by putting them up at someone else's house and then leaving.
Works for me.
I need to stop and grab a burger on the way home, since I didn't defrost anything last night. I can't even work up enthusiasm for that.
What? Just leaving the garland in a lump on the front porch doeesn't count?
No. Nor does the similar lump on the back patio.

Bathroom cleaning is oddly satisfying. Emptying the fortyeleven boxes piled in my dining room back into the cabinets, not so much. I hate moving. And this is like moving but with no freaking new location. It's boring.
I'm all "you GO girl!" about it.
Yeah. ::buffs nails:: That's my congresswoman. What'd your congressperson do today?
Oops. Redundancy. It's like a clementine conspiracy.
Tonight is an exciting night chez bon-Bob. First off, Christmas! I shipped most of Bob's gifts and most things I received for Christmas from Phoenix last week. They get here tonight! More exciting, we bought a new bookshelf that arrived today, and now can take about a hundred books off the floor. I think Bob has been unable to sleep with visions of "Kant's moral psychology-only" bookshelves dancing in his head.
