Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, have a good date, Nilly!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

The fact that I just scheduled my TiVo online to record that (the TiVo in the next room, on whom I'm going to resume watching Psych just as soon as I take another Imitrex)

I just want to quote this to note I still love Psych! How great is that show!

Today, I spent 5 and a half hours at the hair salon. It was very annoying, but now I have pretty pretty hair.

I want to know more. What takes that long anymore? Multiple dye jobs or perm or straightening or what?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Enjoy your date, Nilly!

Lee, do you have pictures of your pretty pretty hair? Because we want to see.

And Hec - where are the pictures of that freaky cat-thing?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, Nilly!

Yeah. Somehow I doubt this is what Lee had going on, but I'm pretty sure it did take that long for my friend to go from long colored brown hair (highlights and lowlights and whatnot) to long blonde hair.

SO LAZY.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And Hec - where are the pictures of that freaky cat-thing?

I'll try to take one today.

It's good fun. Someone on another board said they didn't want to watch it because he's an asshole, but he's not really. He can sure be an ass, though.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, I love that show. I keep meaning to set up a season pass but I'm awful at remembering that stuff.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I have a cat in my lap. That is all.

Jealous of cat-in-lap.

As I recall, it took at least five hours for me to go from long dark hair to medium-long red hair. Today, I'm going back to medium-long dark hair, but I'm doing it myself, so, not five hours.

I keep trying to love Psyche. It's a great premise, I love Dule Hill, but the main character grates on my nerves.

eta I hate misspelling words.

Art Crawl!!!

Is it wrong that I h aven't read anything by Jame Tiptree, Jr that I can recall?

I think I got that quiz wrong.

Also, Mickey Spillane is a science fictioni writer? Is that in an alternative universe?

And - I watched the men's final live! And it was great -- but I was hoping for me. I really thought that Gonzo and Federer were going to go the distance because they seemed so well matched in the first set. But then - I mean, I feel that it may be overwrought to say that Gonzo fell apart in the 2nd set but whatever he was doing in the first set either stopped working or he stopped doing it.

So, post tennis I went back to bed and slept for another 5 hours. This means that by going to bed early, getting up at 2 and staying up for 3.5 hours and then going back to bed -- I got MORE sleep than I do when I go to bed and get up at my regular hour. That seems wrong, doesn't it?

Also, I was pleased to see who had won the Men's and Women's National titles in skating. Both skaters that I liked when I last saw them on tv. . . which was probably at the Olympics because I am not a faithful follower of figure skating.
