Well, she was pretty busy at the time. Maybe she thought that if it were infinite, no time was too late for it?
[Edited because there's no such thing as "tool late".]
'Dirty Girls'
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

msbelle, what did mac think of the library?
Nilly, glad you got some sleep catch up (shabbat was the word I was looking for when I used sabbath instead. I'm actually more used to using shabbat than sabbath in the jewish context, which is why it felt like the wrong word.)
I am eating carne asada from TJ's over a bed of lettuce and guac. It was supposed to be in a tortilla, but I discovered I had none.
I spent the afternoon transfering (and shredding. Oh god, the shredding) my records and whatnot from accordian things to hanging files in a file box. Much neater. I'm usually pretty good about only keeping 1- 2 years of stuff, but apparently had missed a huge pile the last several times. Account statements from 1997. Oy.
The weather cooperating with outdoors in NYC, or was it one of those indoor play areas, msbelle?
I ought to dye my hair tonight.
OK, what is UP with, after spending hours loading music onto my computer, the public radio station I listen to get new stuff is playing a lot of stuff I have! It's weird. I've never heard Sneaker Pimps on this station before.

Hrmmph! That's taking the lazy woman's route. No, no, I"m afraid a citation is in order, and she'll have to pay a pretty hefty penance -- explaining reproductive health to a cafeteria full of 13 year old boys.
Steph - I think the amount of books overwhelmed him a bit (although he has been to a bookstore), but mostly he just wanted to get some Arthur books like we had discussed and then leave. Unfortunately, the electronic check-outs (the only option) were not cooperating, it took us three machines before we got all checked out.
sara, it was cold (about 34 degrees) but he was bundled up and stayed out about 40 minutes.
edit b/c I really can read.
sara - I understand what you mean with "sabbath" and "shabbat". I pronounce them differently, on top of the "h" moving around there, too.

She wouldn't have to do this in English, though, right?
BWAHAHAAHA! Yeeessss, my pretty!!
Hence the heavy penace.
Kids running around are remarkably resilient in the cold. My brother keeps his house at a ridiculous 55 F in the winter (it's a big house) and when the adults are all swathed in layers, D is roaring around in a t-shirt. It's crazy.
Oh, I got some more (fitting!) jeans from ON. FTR- the 12 short are actually LONGER than the 12 regular. @@ (And I don't have short legs by any stretch. Most consistently sized pants are too short.) (And only in ON-land do I wear a 12 anything.)
For some reason that I can't quite figure out, my TiVo decided to record possibly the most disturbing Little House on the Prairie episode ever: [link] . Even with all the weirdness in the other episodes I've seen (fires or someone dying in SO many episodes), this is just ... wow.
Is that The Mime That Raped Sylvia? I've never watched that show but have heard much about that episode.
