A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My students?

Won't they complain anyway?

Oh, yes. It is the natural state of the student. If they didn't complain, I'd be checking their houses for some serious alien pod action.

See, so you're actually doing both them, their parents and yourself a favor by giving them complaining material. And it's even educational! That's such an impressive multi-tasking!

Huh. Wow, I'm such a rock star! Thanks, Nilly!

I'm totally giving myself a gold star on Monday! Go, team me!

Oh, I'm glad to help.

We never got any sort of stars in schools. I feel so deprived.

But then again, we never had rock stars, either. So maybe it works together, the whole "star" thing.

I actually don't have gold stars. But I do have a cool cursive script stamp and copper ink, and I stamp "Well Done!" on some papers.

Is is beef...or good work? YOU DECIDE!

Could it be good work performed on the beef?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hi Nilly!

I just got back from a Trader Joe's run. I'd been saying all week that it was too cold to go grocery shopping, but I got to the point where I really needed to. So, lots of food! And I just cleaned up my kitchen and got a bunch of new shelves a few days ago, so lots of organized food! (Most of my kitchen cabinets are way too high up, so that if I can reach a shelf at all, I can only reach the front of it, and then if anything falls to the back where I can't reach or see it, I don't realize that I have it and so I buy more. When I cleaned up, I found something like five boxes of couscous and probably a few pounds of lentils. Now I've got a set of shelves against one wall where I can keep all that kind of stuff. It's so cool to be able to just look and see what food I have without having to stand on a chair.)
