This weekend? Um. I think I am supposed to mainline all of Heroes. And possibly make cupcakes. Also I really should put together that floor lamp.

Tonight, after I get my bangs trimmed, snuggling with cats and dog and Farscape season 4 and maybe an ep of What Not to Wear. Tomorrow, walking/running with my BFF (and possibly other BFF if it's not too, too cold for her) in the early a.m. then work then fancy dinner with both BFFs and other loved ones then Smiths cover band "Girlfriend in a Coma." Sunday is unplanned so far! !!! Except hard yoga in the a.m. and some sort of grocery shopping/cooking and working on this stupid document if I don't get it ready for review in the next hour. Maybe go see Volver. Or Children of Men if I can stand to go to a multiplex.

This weekend I will work Saturday (ugh!), probably go see Romeo & Juliet at the rich suburb's community theater that evening, and then either see Notes on a Scandal or The Last King of Scotland Sunday if I can fight off naps long enough to get out of the house in daylight.

This is one reason you should be drinking Rose's!

Well, I'll be testing out a new bar this weekend. I swear, sometimes that's all that gets me out socialising. New bar, new gimlet order, stand around and smile, then I bolt for home.

So, yeah, brief attendance at krav birthday party is all I have planned, unless teaching krav and picking people up from the airport counts as plans.

I'm excited because I just remembered about a Fandango $5 gift certificate I had forgotten about, and it's still good til 1/31! So I'm going to the movies, probably to see Dreamgirls, in my neighborhood. Other than that, laundry and housecleaning.

I'm going to see Deerhoof tonight (yay!), but I'm going alone, which I guess is kind of lame.

Not lame! fun! I wish I could go with you. Which reminds me they are playing here soon and I need to figure out when and get a ticket. I have a resolution about going out and seeing more music this year. I was totally lame at it last year.

I am missing the Dwarves tonight due to having to get up early/work all day tomorrow. I really wanted to go because a) I've never seen them and I hear they are actually really great and not just a gimmick now and b) I used to help dogsit one of their dogs when I lived out in SF. My roommate was friends with one of their girlfriends and we'd watch their totally great dog, Zach, when they'd go on the road.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE going to movies by myself.

So much so, that I might go tomorrow night after the punk is in bed while the guys are gaming. I need to see Dreamgirls.

Tonight staying in with wine and cheese because it is so cold. The wine depends on whether my review goes ok today. Tomorrow comedy show and cooking cornish game hens, maybe with gimlets. Reviewing transcripts rest of weekend.
