It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It was cold this morning but it didn't feel as cold as "coldest day in two years" (that's what Pat Kiernan said). I think it was a dry cold. Speaking of Pat, Jesse, did you see Roger this morning? Oh, it was a classic.

Very nice house, Sue. I love how big the living room looks.

I keep hoping that if I drink more coffee, I will hate people less. What seems to happen is that I just hate them more alertly.

What is even happening?

Sue, I love the house! I have a thing for capes. I miss our old one, sometimes. Are you making your offer, today?

I can see as how traditional things like eyeballing distances and sewing and baking would be slow to convert over.

Yeah. It makes a lot of sense.

I read a story when I was a kid -- possibly Alan and Naomi. Anyhow, the bit of whatever story that comes to mind in this conversation is that the young girl was an immigrant. She was at someone else's house, and realized she only knew the Yiddish for the word 'chicken' and she was terribly embarrassed when they didn't know what she was talking about.

Related to the topic, but not the book, it's my understanding that's how we've hung onto words we consider swears -- they were the old Anglo-Saxon for body parts and functions, and when the language was forbidden, people still hung onto these particular words, and eventually, they were seen as vulgar not only for their meaning, but because they were of the old language.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Of course I saw Roger this morning, bon! OH! I learned last night that one of my best friends thinks he's annoying! WTFF? I think our friendship might be irrevocably damaged.

Good luck, Sue!

Does anyone remember someone posting an online savings account service thing here? I can't remember the name of it.

ING Direct?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do you mean Ing?

You may Never Speak To Her Again. Or show her this, the only RC clip I found on YouTube, but still, so ROGER. [link]

I love how one of the commenters on YouTube is like, "Is that anchor the same guy doing the pop culture trivia show?????"

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

our local coffee shop does a bacon and brie sandwich that is to die for.

My method is to hunt up the nearest thermometer, which cleverly has both scales on it.

My method is to say “he said ‘minus’. That’s always cold”

Okay, this morning I SWEAR I heard a report on CNN about a guy patenting a method for injecting doughnuts with 50mg of caffeine. I thought ‘this is something that that Buffistas need to know!” So, I googled for a link and came up with this [link] But that’s from three years ago! When I added the word “patent” to the search, I came up with this [link]

I think that there’s gonna be a lawsuit.
