Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mmm.

I am suddenly hungry for cheese. Any cheese. I am a cheese whore, I do not care. But yeah, there was a tiny little cheese shop in Coshocton, Ohio that always had the best fancy schmancy cheeses. Mmm.

Our eating schedule is all out of whack because we taught at a different school this week, and they had us running. Setup and early lessons were during lunch, and we snuck out between sessions to get dinner, but that made it ridiculously early dinner, and we just got home a little bit ago, which was too late to cook.

But now I'm hungry.

Just realizing I did not eat dinner.

BAD MSBELLE!!!

My BFF is having a baby and myself and another close friend are torturing her with bad name ideas.

One of the reasons brother and SIL hope to have a girl is that they can agree on a girl name. Another boy? Mogolwi and Fractus are being threatened. Yeah, my brother's contribution. SIL's suggestions are "Abercrombie& Fitch girly models." D's contribution is Optimus Prime. So. Girl parts would be easier.

I had dinner, but it was completely unsatisfactory. Ah well.

At yoga today, handstands felt weird. As did headstands. As did arm balances.

But I tell you what, the splits were so easy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I just realized that not only do I have a friend's daughter named Amelia Eowyn, I also have a (completely different) friend's son named Jacob Treebeard. I am a geek among geeks.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Rufus Zeke is a standard boy name my family suggests. it is what my dad told the hospital nurses that my brother was being named. mom, in labor was NOT amused.

Lurlene is a good girl one to start with. Then I can always go to my own family names and suggest Alta, Erma, Batty, Ludell, Alma.

random thought: Do you think most people are more glamorous by email? I ask because I exchanged email with someone who I met today. And while the email was all formal etc., she was NOT what I had envisioned in my head.

Has the internet + TV ruined my ability to maintain realism in the expectations I have for people's personal appearance?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The DH always suggests Eucalyptus as suitable for either gender.

Alma means soul in Spanish. I have had two students, both named Alma who have been adorable godsend kids.

Do you think most people are more glamorous by email?

I'm only more enthusiastic, bubbly and INSANE in email, I think. Can't speak to other people. Normally, more refined. Mostly. Unless it involves caps and stupid text messaging speak.

Swouncing

Alma means soul in Spanish

Also the sort-of Hebrew equivalent to "miss" (as in msbelle, that is, not in lacking or longing). It's also a girl's name in Hebrew.

The bible is a wonderful source for horrible names. Looking for those names in it can be almost as much fun as looking for curse words in the dictionary when you're supposed to do your homework.
