On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

I made caldo verde for dinner last night. It looked so sketchy that I almost didn't eat it, but I tried some anyway and my stomach told me that my eyes were crazy judgmental.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Dana, that earworm hit me as soon as lisah said she sang her zip code. So I don't blame you.

Ha. At least I'm not crazy. I think it's probably the most pervasive New Orleans commercial jingle I know, with ABC Car Insurance coming in second.

Lucky for you that I am not one of them, because I know where you live.

Oh, you can't reach me unless I come to visit! Which is sort of where my cunning plan falls apart.

Corwood! Wow, posting with you twice in a row. Third time - ice-cream.

Hec, wanna un-whine me a bit with Matilda stories? I'm such a skipper these days, the last thing I know about her is that she was born. Which is pretty much the first thing I know about her, too. Hmm.

How is daddying her like or unlike daddying Emmett at that age?

[Edit: 5=2+3 and also 8=2³]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm such a skipper these days, the last thing I know about her is that she was born.

So you missed the part when she was kidnapped by Druids?

Also, thanks for the earworm, shrift.

I could've earwormed you with worse things. I am just saying.

Oh, you can't reach me unless I come to visit! Which is sort of where my cunning plan falls apart.

I could hop on a plane and then take a taxi and break my neck on your deck! You don't know!

Punishingly Intricate

Lisa, Cartoon You is so freakin' awesome

Thanks! I do really love it! One freaky thing about it though is that, since it's all done in black, white, and red tones, my eyes are not blue. And I always think of having blue eyes as being an important part of my physical self. (if that makes sense...i'm realizing it may only make sense inside my weird head) And so I want to do a little colorization of the cartoon.

ION, it has started snowing in what looks like earnest now. Driving home on 95 should be thrilling!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Totally makes sense to me.
