sara! Good to post with you.

So far I've only managed to secretly gain control over Canada

Oh, does that mean you control their snow, as well? And if so, could you be convinced to transport some of it here? All the global weather reports were full of talks about storms last week (you guys took care of yourselves and stayed snuggled and warm and dry, right?), and all we got was rain.

Wait, so if I don't post for a day, an alarm goes off in the batcave?

Awesome.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Dang, those floral urinals are really homoerotic. Except the pink orchid, which is just a giant yoni. That, um, a guy can piss in. That disturbs me.

From back a ways:

Hec, I'm with Matt. Dude. Tunguska.

Clearly it's a large gap in my knowledge base. Fortunatetly, I now have Wikipedia to fill in the gaps.

I had never heard of it until yesterday. But my education is spotty.

Ray comparing something to the "Tunguska blast" at one point.

"You have been a participant in the biggest cross dimensional cross-rip since the Tunguska blast of 1909."

I never quite understood what Ray was saying after "cross dimensional," and so I assumed it was some madeup shit anyway.

Me = DUM.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

We all girt ourselves in tights and went urban-spelunking on your behalf. There might have been kissing, too, but I went to bed early.

So, yes.

In completely other news, Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber, the guy who blew people up because he had a thing about government and control and, actually, he was crazy (still is) but his crazy revolved around being part of systems like electrical grids and tenure-review? Right now, he's in prison (although he tried to kill himself, I think more than once, when first incarcerated), and maybe it's a sign of his increasing sanity that he is using the federal courts to challenge the US government's sale of his personal writings.

I mean, probably his lawyer told him to, but, hello to the irony!

Oh, Gud, even Leif is already completely a child by now, no more a toddler. How old are they now?

And I love how both their faces in those pictures, different as they may be, are so full of expression. I could almost cuddle on the carpet beside them and join their game, just from looking at them.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Ack, Nilly. That sucks.

msbelle, wait, I missed something. Did the teacher try claiming that Mac just fell?

So today is going to be lone "relax and enjoy it" day of my vacation, it looks like. Previously there was find a job stress, yesterday was filling out paperwork and tomorrow is taking the GF to the hospital for assorted tests, including the ultrasound.

Plans for today include going out to lunch with a bunch of my old coworkers, picking up my pulls from the comic shop, and being a complete and utter bum for the remainder. As goals go, I think that's quite managable.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I seriously can't believe that that big girl used to be TCBITW. Where did the baby go?

You were right here the whole time, shrift.

They are four and seven now. They are growing up fast.
