You got fired, and you still hang around here like a big loser. Why can't he?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hi Nilly!

How are things?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hey Nilly. No, it's the title story.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I wonder if the TAL show will be on iTunes.

It's usually available on thislife.org about a week after broadcast.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And there's a podcast.

Swouncing

How are things?

Um, which version do you want, the whiny I've-been-up-for-40-hours-straight-working-and-still-didn't-finish-what-I-need-to-e-mail-for-tonight-and-I-teach-on-8am or the, well, other, I'm sure there could be some other one somewhere?

Um, you? Y'all?

it's the title story

Oh, that makes sense, what with this being the name of the book and all.

I love the way you weave words in writing. But I was lucky enough to hear you tell a few, as well, and you do that marvelously, too (though you probably also know how to spell "marvelously", which I think I don't). You totally get inside the story you tell, and get the people listening to you inside it, too. Reading an essay written by yourself is like the cherry on top as well as the whole cake all together.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

It's usually available on thislife.org about a week after broadcast.

Oh, I meant the tv show. I'm already subscribed to the podcast.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm not sure if it is possible that any one ever had less interest in doing their jobs than I have right now. Ugh.

I feel compelled to challenge that statement.
