Brenda, glad you are okay, if a little sleep deprived.

I just realized the app I downloaded will ONLY work on my school computer at the moment. And maybe Lori's work computer. Not either of my little old desktops.

Also, Jessica, I'm so with you about Gilmore Girls. I am still watching it, because why not? But that is the worst fake belly ever.

Also also, WRT finding out the sex of the babies via ultrasound: I find it really interesting that there are plenty of people who are adamant about not knowing, about it being a surprise. What's weird is not that they want that, but that current technology means it would only be a surprise to THEM since one's doctors and their respective nurses would all know.

Weird to me.

I have an appointment at the Rare Books Department of my public library. I wonder if they'll make me wear special white gloves while handling the books. At UCLA's Rare Book Department, there is a huge collection of historical porn. Since it's a public university, all have access. So there are plenty of oddly skeevy folks who go just for the porn. Odd, yes?

Our wings are not tired.

If oddly skeevy folks are there just for the porn I would request special white gloves.

I didn't want to find out about the sex of my babies in advance. The first time I let my gf watch so she could tell my sister. Judi was sewing a bunch of stuff and wanted the info. That secret was blown when my clueless nephew mentioned the cool blue quilt that his aunt made for my baby. His girlfriend rolled her eyes but we didn't tell him he messed up. With Bobby the US was too early to tell so no one knew. Ha! Don't know why, I just wanted to hear the announcement at delivery. It's a boy! Both times, but my instinct knew that both times too.

Of course I do want to know in advance with the Buffista sprog!

edit cause skeeby not so skeevy

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If oddly skeevy folks are there just for the porn I would request special white gloves.

Ha! (and edited per your edit)

I need a vacation. Which seems really wrong, given the number of days off I've had in the past month (between Christmas, New Year's, furniture delivery, and MLK Day), and yet? I would still like a vacation for real.

Art Crawl!!!

GG: I like the Lane/Zack story but I agree that even though she's carrying twins -- that was just ultrafake looking.

Yep, given that the books i'm working with are all 18th century. I'm not sure how the Rare Books work at LAPL though. I was told I need to go to the regular department and let them know I'm there for a Rare Book appointment.

At UCLA, it's on a different floor. Everyone, even the skeevy porn guys, get white gloves.

At the Huntington, though, I can't remember if you do or don't. We didn't. We got a pointer type thing and velvet book holders.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Reports from the conservative front.... Glenn Beck was mocking the STFU SOTU this morning. Between that and badmouthing Bush on yesterday's show over the healthcare issue, I almost don't want to put him up against an alley wall a la "comes-the-revolution" style.

Note: almost.

I seriously need to kill people.

The thing, the ONE thing I had serious reservations about, and warned people about, and was patted on the head and told not to worry, it wouldn't happen? Happened.

It's kind of a fucking big deal. Like director in my office big deal. (Not me in trouble, not my error. But me in the middle of it.)

I should have stayed in bed.
