GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

If they handle project managers, that is.

It's a shame you're not in the Chicago area. I've seen a few openings for those in my search for technical jobs.

Insent.

I'll ask the agent I've been working with there if they do Project Managers when I see him tomorrow. I have to head down to their office to fill out the contracting paperwork.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Conversation with DH this evening:

DH: Why don't we have a supply of pies and cakes at the ready?

Me: I don't know. But did you know it's National Pie Day?

DH: Pie day should be March 14! At 1:52 p.m.

Me: I know!

He's disappointed in the American Pie Council but impressed with the buffistas.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

insent, Dana.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Isn't it always this way?

Maybe I'll make a pie.

Not today though.

Everyone--cross your fingers for me. I'm going to try and med and nap away enough of this migraine for me to make it to krav. Can't miss two days in a row.

Good luck, ita.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Dammit. Now I want pie. Why does the conversation always come back to food and sex?!

rhetorical question, yes

I look more rad than Lutheranism

DH: Pie day should be March 14! At 1:52 p.m.

But...but...March 14 IS Pi Day! Even the Germans celebrate it!

I just found Make The Commitment which is a Merck site that donates $1 to the Cancer Research Prevention and Foundation for every free bracelet kit you order. It's all about HPV awareness.

Okay, hauling vaguely migrainey ass off to krav. Hope this works out.

I just realized my brother's qualifying exams are tomorrow. Eep. I think it's basically a presentation of his dissertation proposal, plus some brain picking. I think he'll do just fine, but eep. Then, on friday, it's the hopefully-gender-find-out ultrasound. Big week for them! (My SIL tried to bribe her OB with cookies for an early ultrasound. He laughed.)

My brother's kinda hoping for another boy, because the idea of a girl scares him. Whatever! SIL really really wants a girl. Me? I'm just kinda thrilled I get another niecphew, but it's be neat for them to have one of each. Plus, endless hours of taunting my brother.
